DS Automobiles: F3VER previews a compact electric DS

The DS F3VER is a 4.19 m compact concept with Cosmic Blue dichroic paint, a customisable roof ring and a 400-litre boot. DS calls it an exploratory concept, but several outlets read it as a preview of the DS N°3, reportedly due in 2028 on the STLA One platform. DS hasn’t published a battery, power or range figure. Full details are in our DS F3VER concept article and on the DS brand page. autonotizen

DS is also launching the N°7. It comes with hybrid and full-electric options and up to 740 km of range. automotiveworld

Citroën: the electric 2 CV returns

Citroën’s headline act is a concept reviving the 2 CV. It was announced as part of Stellantis’ “E-Car” project, a new entry-level EV that would sit below the ëC3. Citroën is showing two concept cars in Hall 4, plus a C3 Aircross show car. One report suggests the production car could arrive by 2029, but nothing is confirmed. See the current Citroën EV line-up. What the concepts tell us

Three themes stand out across the Stellantis stand:

  1. Shared platforms. STLA One underpins the RCZ Vision and, reportedly, the next DS compact and Peugeot E-208. Expect shared hardware with different designs.
  2. Steer-by-wire is arriving. Hypersquare is confirmed for the next E-208, which would be among the first mainstream steer-by-wire cars.
  3. A push for small, affordable EVs. The 2 CV, DS N°3 and Leapmotor B03 all target the compact end of the market.
